Any awareness campaign that works to better children’s lives needs to be supported, even when they use provocative measures to get their cause across.
This shocking street campaign from Melbourne was created by the Australian Childhood Foundation to put focus on child abuse, and shed light on how the abuse is often invisible to the surroundings and hence the children are neglected.
The campaign runs under the title: Stop Child Abuse Now. Life-size child mannequins where placed at key city centers behind huge billposters only showing the legs and feet of the “child”. They used the tagline, “Neglected Children are made to feel invisible”. This is a powerful advertising campaign designed by JWT, Melbourne.

Nigel Evan Dennis (A.K.A. Electric Heat) has just released his first video today for their upcoming EP entitled, ‘Ice Cream Bones’. Great music, great design, great art. He created the video himself and from what I can tell also did the album cover. Talented Dude!

Finally everyone is going to play together, well almost everyone. If you’re a photo nut, you already know about the Four Thirds movement, if not here it is in a nut shell. Four Thirds System is a cooperative venture to standardize interchangeable lens. Which means Kodak, Panasonic, Olympus, and even Leica will support the same lens mount. It’s like taking your cell number to another network, now you can take your camera to another lens system, or the other way around.
