New Austalian Child Abuse Campaign

Any awareness campaign that works to better children’s lives needs to be supported, even when they use provocative measures to get their cause across.

This shocking street campaign from Melbourne was created by the Australian Childhood Foundation to put focus on child abuse, and shed light on how the abuse is often invisible to the surroundings and hence the children are neglected.

The campaign runs under the title: Stop Child Abuse Now. Life-size child mannequins where placed at key city centers behind huge billposters only showing the legs and feet of the “child”. They used the tagline, “Neglected Children are made to feel invisible”. This is a powerful advertising campaign designed by JWT, Melbourne.
