Ryan Adams and the Cardinals - Secret Show!

Still on the music bandwagon... but thankfully CMJ has left town.
As I was sitting at home today avoiding the crazy weather going on outside (freezing! windy! rainy! freezing! lightning! FREEZING!). My flatmate Luke came charging through the door with a crazy look in his eye. As I rant about how cold it is outside, Luke is rummaging around the apartment putting on layer after layer. I decide to ask what all the excitement is about and he reveals that Ryan Adams is having a secret show at Select Cafe in Soho!
Well being a fan of Mr Adams and having never seen him play live, it was only a matter of seconds before I too was piling on the layers. Outside was horrible but there was no way I was going to sit out this one!
We jump a car and head into Soho with another friend Angie. Who was quiet mildly dressed in comparison to her Australian counterparts.
Once in the cafe the lovely sound of Ryan Adams and the Cardinals plus the warmth of being inside and a coffee in hand was an amazing way to spend the afternoon.
The talented fellas were taking requests and had the audience eating out of their palms. His new album is released today so make sure you go out and grab a copy.
