Michel Haddi

Michel Haddi is one of my all time favorite photographers. So when moving across the pacific I decided that I may as well contact him seen as though we will be in the same hemisphere. I sent Michel a short email of admiration and that I would like to work with him and the next day there was his name in MY inbox.
On the weekend I had the opportunity to work with him on 2 shoots that were very different to each other and it was an amazing experience.

Having worked 20 years as one of the leading photographers in fashion, Michel HADDI, born in France and a former US resident, had an exciting career.
Michel Haddi’s editorial collaborations include the most important magazines, in particular all the Conde Nast Editions (Italian Vogue, Italian Glamour, Uomo Vogue, French Vogue, British Vogue, Mademoiselle, Tatler, GQ, Allure, Vanity Fair), but also the Face, Arena, Interview, Details, Rolling Stone, Vibe, Elle, Premiere (USA, France and Japan), Stern, the Sunday Times, the Washington Post, the German Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire… . He did gorgeous advertising campaigns for Armani, Yves Saint- Laurent, Emilio Pucci, Lancetti, Lee Jeans, Saks 5th Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Guerlain and Rochas.
When he was living in the USA, he met and photographed many high profile celebrities such as Clint Eastwood, Martin Scorsese, David Bowie, Uma Thurman, Francis Ford Coppola, Cameron Diaz, Faye Dunaway, Nicholas Cage and many others.
Michel Haddi is not only a photographer: he runs also a publishing house, One Eyed Jacks Publishing Ltd, based in London, which publishes his own fashion/beauty magazine entitled Haddi and More and his books.
Michel Haddi is currently based in Paris.
